This video portrays tradotopma; folklore in Cuba, focusing on the everyday life of musicians and dancers. Shot in homes as well as on the streets and stages, the video captures the connections between African and Latino culture, religion, daily life and art. Among the artists featured are pianist Chucho Valdez, dancer Librada Quesada, salsa king Isaac Delgado, Los Van Van founder Juan Formel, and Raices Profundas and Los Muequitos de Matanzas, two of the most important folkloric groups in Cuba today.
