In May and June 1976 Odin Teatret toured in Venezuela. This film shows barters in Kuripe, a Venezuelan negro village, and with the Yanomami, an Indian tribe of the Upper Orinoco in Amazonia. It includes fragments from the BOOK OF DANCES and COME! AND THE DAY WILL BE OURS by Odin Teatret, as well as Yanomami dances and the shaman's enactment of his tribal legend about the tortoise which killed the jaguar. 1976. Colour. 25 min. No narration.
